Cocomilk Kefir Guacamole
- 2 Ripe Avocados
- Squeeze of Lime or Lemon Juice
- 1 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 Tablespoons Cocomilk Kefir
Optional Flavour Bits:
- Diced Red Onion
- Diced Cherry Tomato
- Crushed Garlic
- Chopped Coriander
- Mild Chilli Flakes
How to Prepare:
Step 1: Mash or blend for desired texture.
Step 2 (optional): Add & stir in finely diced onion, cherry tomato, crushed garlic clove (as desired).
Step 3 (optional): Garnish with chopped coriander and/or mild chilli flakes.
Great as a spread on toast, for a dip accompanied by a cheese board or crackers / chips.
Cheeses, crackers, chips, salmon and poached eggs on toast, for tacos & burritos.
Fun Fact: This tasty treat dates back to the Aztec empire in the 1500s. Avocados were a favorite fruit in the area, and the Aztecs loved their 'ahuaca-mulli' or avocado-mixture. The Spaniards also loved this treat, but could not pronounce the name correctly - probably because they had mouths 'stuffed' full of GUUAAACCMo.... :).
