Copper Bottles are a convenient way to avoid BPA, & aluminium contamination whilst still getting a self-sanitising drink storage bottle. That's something a stainless vessel can't supply.
Anti-bacterial Effect: Copper has a natural antimicrobial ("contact-killing") property. Storing water in a pure copper vessel for 6 to 8 hours (ideally overnight) can significantly reduce or eliminate certain waterborne bacteria like E. coli and Salmonella.
Trace Minerals: Water left in the bottle absorbs tiny, safe amounts of copper ions (typically 0.2 to 0.5 mg/litre, well below the World Health Organization and Australian Drinking Water Guidelines limit of 2 mg/L).
Copper Quality: The bottles have a minimum Copper + Silver (Cu + Ag) content of 99.9% (or ≥ 99.85% to 99.9% depending on grade specifics). The residual phosphorus content ranges between 0.015% and 0.04% & is added to the copper to remove oxygen, which prevents hydrogen embrittlement when the copper is heated by manufacturing or containing hot water-based contents.
